A rock buyer weighing the Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 against the Polaris RZR Pro XP is drawing from exactly the same span of model years, because platform codes KRX and RZR-PRO both run 2020 to 2026. Both are UTVs by the site's class definition. That makes them unusually easy to compare on paper. Nothing here comes from driving either machine.

Rock is the terrain that punishes a bad purchase slowly. Nothing breaks in an afternoon; bearings, boots, sliders and the underside accumulate damage over seasons until a machine that looked fine at the sale develops a list of jobs. That makes owner-reported problem records more useful to a rock buyer than any performance figure.

The KRX's entries in those records are chassis and electrical. Rear knuckle and wheel bearing wear from big tires is recorded against KRX along with the RZR XP and the Maverick X3, with a rumble that changes with speed and play when rocking a wheel top to bottom as the symptoms, caused by oversize tires and spacers multiplying leverage on the hub bearings while mud and water wash out the grease.
