Here is what applies: the Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shocks are listed to fit the JL for model years 2018 through 2026. If your machine is a JL inside that range, this is a direct-fit damper. If it is anything else — an older platform, a different model, or a JL outside those years — treat this brief as not for your rig, and do not assume the part crosses over. Fitment listings are exact for a reason, and a shock listed for one model year is not automatically the right one for a truck built on a different chassis or generation.

What this part is: it comes from Fox's Performance Series and uses an internal floating piston, which is what the "IFP" in the name refers to — a floating piston that separates the oil from the gas charge inside the body. It is a replacement damper, not a lift and not a spring change. It does not raise the vehicle or change spring rate on its own.

Because it is a straight shock swap within the listed fitment, it is one of the less invasive suspension upgrades you can make. That said, do the install to spec. We are not going to print a torque value here — fastener torque for suspension mounting hardware lives in the service manual for your JL, and it belongs there.
