Fox 2.0 IFP Shocks land for the JL — 2018 through 2026, and only the JL

The Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shocks are a direct-replacement shock set for the JL, model years 2018 through 2026. That is the whole fitment window. If your rig is a JL built in that range, this is a part you can consider; if it is anything else — a JK, or any other platform you are assuming shares parts — the data here does not cover it, so do not treat it as a fit. A part listed for a 2018 does not automatically carry back or forward, and shocks are one of the places where "close enough" gets expensive.

What you are buying is a monotube shock with an internal floating piston, or IFP. The floating piston separates the oil from the gas charge inside the shock body. The practical reason that matters off pavement: as the shock works hard on washboard, ledges, and long fast two-track, the oil heats up. Keeping the gas charge separated from the oil resists foaming, and a shock that has not foamed keeps damping consistently instead of going vague on you halfway through a rough section. On a stock-height JL that gets driven on trails and highway both, that consistency is the point of the upgrade.

These are a shock swap, not a lift. They are not a leveling kit and they will not raise the vehicle. If your goal is ride height or tire clearance, this is the wrong part and you want to be looking at a suspension system instead. If your goal is better body control on the shocks you already run, this is squarely aimed at you.

Two things belong to your service manual, not to any brief. Whatever the shock hardware needs to be torqued to on reassembly is a manual figure — do not let anyone hand you a number over a forum, because a shock mount that backs out on the trail is a shock mount that becomes a projectile. And if this install changes your ride height in any way you did not expect, your tire pressure targets are the manufacturer's figures on the door placard and in the manual, not a round number someone remembered. Guessing at either is how a good weekend ends early.

Install is within reach of an owner with a jack, stands, and the patience to work one corner at a time. Support the vehicle properly, confirm the shocks are the JL-specific set before you remove anything, and keep the old hardware until the new set is fully seated and checked.
