BFGoodrich's KO3 All-Terrain Lands for the JL — 2018 Through 2026

If you run a JL Wrangler, the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 is now available for your machine. The fitment data lists it for JL model years 2018 through 2026. That is the only application we can confirm here, so this brief is for JL owners specifically. If you wheel something else, this is not your tire yet.

The "all-terrain" label is the point: it is built to be lived with daily and still work when the road ends. That is a different job than a dedicated mud tire or a paddle setup, and it is worth being honest about which one you actually need before you spend the money. If your JL sees more highway than trail, an all-terrain is the sensible middle. If you are running deep mud or sand every weekend, look at a more specialized tire instead.

A tire change is one of the few upgrades that alters how your Jeep stops, steers and behaves at speed, so treat it as a mechanical decision, not just a look. We are not going to quote a load rating or an inflation figure for the KO3 here, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does off the cuff. Those numbers are specific to the exact size, load range and axle you are fitting, and getting them wrong is not a cosmetic mistake — an under-inflated or over-loaded tire runs hot and can fail. The correct pressure and load figures come from the tire's own sidewall and load tables and from your JL's door-jamb placard and owner's manual. Read them, and set your pressures to what your build and your load actually call for.

Two more things for JL owners. First, if you are jumping to a larger diameter than stock, budget for a speedometer recalibration and check your clearance at full lock and full articulation — a tire that rubs on flex will chew itself and your fender liner. Second, fitment listed for the JL does not carry over to the JK; those are different platforms, and a part listed for one is not automatically right for the other.

Bottom line: JL owners from 2018 to 2026 now have the KO3 as an option. Confirm your size against your wheel and your build, and pull the load and pressure numbers from the sidewall and your door placard before you air up.
